Are there any Age restrictions?
Classes are from age 16 with no upper limit.
What should I bring to class?
A padded mat is essential. A cushion or small yoga block for your head may also be necessary. We use small props in class such as a small ball and stretch band so please bring these along if you have them. If not then I can provide them.
Who is Pilates suitable for?
It is suitable for everyone, all ages and fitness levels.
What about Health issues?
All clients will be asked to fill out a health form and we will discuss any health issues or injuries before starting. And make modifications as necessary. If in doubt then please ask your GP.
What size are the classes?
Classes are kept to a maximum of 12 participants so that I can observe each participant and adapt or modify as necessary.
What will I gain from 1-2-1 training?
Private sessions are a fantastic way to target areas that need more specific work or rehabilitation. I will visit you in your home and bring along all equipment needed. Utilising large and small exercise balls and other props depending on your goal and needs.
Do I need a large space to do Pilates or have sports massage at home?
Just enough room to put a mat down and for me to move around you or slightly larger area for me to put up my massage table and move around that.
What about corporate bookings?
I work with businesses to provide lunch break Pilates sessions. This a set price for the hour and I can take up to 12 participants, depending on the size of the room available.
